Tombstone has some big plans for Spider-Man: Brand New Day! A rumor for the film reveals the mobster will come to blow with one of the film’s biggest heroes.
With official confirmation finally upon fans that Tombstone will appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, there’s a lot of questions circulating about his role in the film. The rumor mill was rather quiet about the mobster prior to the confirmation that Krondon would be playing him in the MCU. So now, post-confirmation, there isn’t much information for fans to go off.
Luckily, scooper DanielRPK managed to share a small tidbit about the villain’s role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The insider explains that Tombstone will come into “direct conflict” with The Punisher in the film. This likely excites many fans, who were hoping that Jon Bernthal and Krondon would cross paths at least once in the upcoming film.
Tombstone’s Role In Spider-Man: Brand New Day
With the rumor that Tombstone will square-off against The Punisher, it doesn’t seem that Krondon will be playing the main villain of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Rather, it seems that he’ll be playing one of the supporting villains in the B-Plot that help build up Tom Holland’s hero before the ultimate confrontation with the main villain.
This likely means that Krondon won’t be getting too much time to shine as Tombstone in the upcoming film. It’s likely that he has less than 30 minutes of screentime throughout the entirety of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. However, iconic roles have been built with far, far less time. And it’ll be exciting to see what the actor can do with the beloved villain.
