Sadie Sink is finally making her MCU debut! A set photo from Spider-Man: Brand New Day gives fans their first look at the actress’ mysterious character.
Perhaps the most exciting casting announcement that the MCU has made in recent years was the reveal that Sadie Sink, best known for her role as Max in Stranger Things, would be joining the cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in an as-of-yet undisclosed role. However, despite a new set photo from the film finding its way onto the internet nearly every day, the actress has mostly managed to avoid cameras.
This changed this past weekend when the first set photo of Sadie Sink was snapped while production continued on in Glasgow. The picture doesn’t reveal much about her role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with the character wearing a bulky green jacket. The only morsel of information fans can gleam is that the character is wearing military pants and boots to match.

Who Is Sadie Sink Playing In Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
The fact that Sadie Sink is wearing military gear in this set photo does, broadly, narrow down who she could be playing in the project. The first idea that sprung to many people’s minds is that she’s playing the sidekick of the Punisher, a character that has been heavily rumored to appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day but has yet to have an actress officially attached to the role.
The second idea is that Sadie Sink’s character isn’t wearing the military gear for combat purposes, but as a disguise. While there are endless characters who are able to wear a disguise, it’s possible that the actress is playing some form of shapeshifter in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The most interesting candidate in that case would be that Sink is playing Camellia- the sister of the Chameleon from the Ultimate universe- as the MCU would likely be unable to use the Chameleon due to their recent role in Kraven the Hunter.
