Perhaps the most interesting part of this synopsis is that Spider-Man will be facing consequences from his past in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The rumor mill has largely been silent on how the past affects the present in the film, with most of the focus being on the new heroes, villains, and supporting characters that the project will introduce.
However, the answer to this synopsis’ biggest question may have been under our nose the whole time: the Scorpion. Despite making his debut in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the character actually appeared in Homecoming. It’s possible that he serves as a repercussion for his past actions, potentially serving to point him back to being Peter Parker.
