Some unknown faces are joining the cast of Spider-Man: Brand New! A rumor suggests that the film will feature a team from the earliest days of Marvel comics.
If the rumor mill is to be believed, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to feature a truly head-spinning amount of villains. Not just the main ones like Scorpion, Boomerang, and Tombstone; but also relative unknowns like Tarantula and Ramrod. Yet it seems that, the closer the film gets to release, the more it seems yet another team of bad guys may be on their way.
A new rumor from DanielRPK suggests that the film will feature The Enforcers, some of the Spider-Man’s earliest rogues. In the comics, the team of Big Man, Ox, Fancy Dan and Montana (all of whom will be appearing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day) serve as outside agitators to New York’s underground, helping all manner of characters take over the city’s various gangs.
The Team’s Role In Spider-Man: Brand New Day
It’s not likely The Enforcers will play a major role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. However, given characters like Tombstone will appear in the film, it’s likely they’ll play into the plot in some manner if this rumor is true. Most likely, the team will serve as yet another gang for Spidey to contend with, losing a decent chunk of their comic identity in the process.
However, it’s possible this rumor could reveal the TRUE villain team in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Fans still don’t know who Tramell Tillman is playing in the film. It’s possible that he serves as the head of the Department of Damage Control, with him using The Enforcers as pawns to bring New York’s gangs to heel beneath him.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters July 31st, 2026. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Spider-Man’s Marvel Cinematic Universe future!
