SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS: ENDGAME BELOW

A new trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home dropped earlier today and shows Peter dealing with the loss of Tony Stark after the events of Avengers: Endgame. But, another repercussion of the events of Avengers: Endgame takes form in the way of a tear in the universe, opening up our universe to the multiverse, where Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio is from. For many Spider-Man fans and fans of last years Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse, introducing Spider-Man to the multiverse could mean the introduction of the Earth 1610 version of Spider-Man, Miles Morales.

Speaking to Fandango about the new trailer, director of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Jon Watts, touched on introducing the Marvel multiverse.

“We had to look at it in terms of the scope of what happened at the end of Endgame. Seeing all the crazy things that they did and all the questions that raises. So we’re definitely trying to answer one of the big ones — alternate timelines. So many possibilities opened up at the end of Endgame, and Peter Parker is one of the few people on the ground dealing with them.”

When directly asked if Miles Morales would appear in the films, Jon Watts replied:

There is no Miles in this film, or at least not yet. But who knows… we edit these films down to the last second, so you never know.
