‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Clip Reveals What Liz Thinks Of Peter Parker

Time doesn't heal all wounds.

Spider-Man No Way Home Liz Peter Parker

The latest clip from Spider-Man: No Way Home finally revealed what Peter Park’s Homecoming date thinks of him.

Before Spidey was kicking Thanos in the face and messing with Mysterio, he was just trying to get a date to the Homecoming dance. His crush? Liz, a senior who also happened to the leader of the Decathalon team. The odds were stacked against Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming but nevertheless, he prevailed, landing a date with Liz. Until things went south and he immediately left her at the dance.

Liz’s dad turned out to be Adrian Toomes, or the Vulture, who Spider-Man was going up against in Homecoming. It just so happened that the major Homecoming dance took place on the same night Vulture and his crew were following through with a heist that would see them nabbing high-profile, dangerous Stark tech. Talk about priorities. The film ended with Toomes getting arrested and Liz finding out that her father was a creep who dressed up like a bird.

Well, in Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spidey’s identity was revealed, letting the whole know that the friendly neighborhood web-crawler was none other than Peter Parker. The upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home is supposed to tackle Peter’s identity revealed in detail, which leaves everyone on his side a bit flustered, including Liz.

The latest clip from Spider-Man: No Way Home features a newsstand that holds various copies of People magazine with Liz on the cover. The story? Liz dishing out what she really feels about Peter Parker. The cover photo features the quote “He’s a liar.” Ouch, Liz.

You can check out the full clip as well, which features Doctor Strange and Spider-Man engaging in a little brawl to obtain the strange cube in the good doctor’s possession. If you’re seeing the movie tonight, maybe skip watching the clip as it appears to be a crucial scene.
