Are we getting more bad guys?

A brand new magazine cover for Spider-Man: No Way Home hints at Sandman and Mysterio.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to be one of Marvel Studios’ most expansive films because of how it incorporates the multiverse. Previous Spider-Man villains like Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin are all set to jump into Tom Holland’s universe to raise some hell. And now it looks like Sandman and Mysterio might also be added into the chaotic multiverse mix.

Empire magazine’s latest issue features a brand new, beautiful cover that teases Spider-Man: No Way Home’s villains. However, it’s the second, subscriber cover that puts a throwback, psychedelic-like spin on Spidey. If you look closely, you’ll see various members of the Sinister Six, including Sandman and Mysterio, teased in the Spidey kaleidoscope.

On the bottom right-hand side, you can see Sandman’s arm trying to get through a portal. Below the R and E, you can find a blue symbol that hints at Mysterio. Of course, it’s unclear if Mysterio and Sandman will actually appear in the film, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see them pop up. After all, rumors have suggested for months that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will show up, so what’s a couple of other characters in the grander scheme of things?

Here is the synopsis for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home:

“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alfred Molina.

No Way Home is currently set to be released on December 17, 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the film and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
