Producer Amy Pascal shared an exciting update on the upcoming sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Much of the focus at the moment is all on Spider-Man: No Way Home with the film less than a month out. Following the massive success of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Sony is also developing a sequel that is being directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson.

News has slowly been coming out about the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel, with the biggest being that Issa Rae will voice Spider-Woman. Now, producer Amy Pascal opened up a little bit about the sequel to Fandango by revealing we can expect to see something soon:

“It’s going to be fantastic. We have something to show on that very soon.”

The Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse sequel is set for October 7, 2022, and still doesn’t have an official title. However, Pascal might be hinting that we could be getting our first look at the sequel around the time No Way Home hits theaters next month. Sony released the first look at Into the Spider-Verse over a year before the film hit theaters, so doing the same for the sequel, which is scheduled less than a year from now, wouldn’t be a surprise.
