Tom Holland has had a busy few years thanks to his role as Spider-Man, from becoming Peter Parker to joining the Avenger and defeating Thanos to headlining two solo films. The Spider-Man star announced on Instagram that he’s taking a break from the social platform Instagram while he focuses on a new project with the Russo Brothers. After all the recent Spider-Man drama involving the Marvel Cinematic Universe it’s no wonder he wants to step away from Instagram — his notifications must be chaos.
While Tom Holland’s Spider-Man remains in the MCU (for now), he’s joining the Avengers: Endgame directors on their new film, titled “Cherry.” Tom Holland announced the social media break on his Instagram page with a photo of himself and his dog. The film he’s working on with the Avengers: Endgame directors focuses on a Army medic with PTSD who “becomes a serial bank robber after an addiction to drugs puts him in debt,” according to IMDb.
