Is Spider-Noir shaping up better than fans expected? The first poster and promos for the series suggest it may stick close to Spider-Man’s roots!
Spider-Noir is such an oddball series. It’s the only Spider-Man project to survive Sony’s doomed collaboration with Amazon, and every detail that comes out about it just seems to get weirder and weirder. From releasing two versions (one in black-and-white and one in color) and featuring obscure villains like Silvermane, somehow Nicolas Cage being Spider-Man is the most ordinary thing about it.
Yet much of the information fans know about Spider-Noir comes from leaks and rumors. The project has had little forward momentum in the public eye, which is especially strange given how barren this year has been for Spider-Man content. However, during a recent convention appearance, Sony officially released the first poster for the upcoming series.

Spider-Noir Gets Classic
While this poster is cool, its aesthetic may leave people thinking more about Dick Tracy than Peter Parker. However, it does seem that the series isn’t completely abandoning the classic elements of Spider-Man. A promotional display for Spider-Noir shows the hero slinging webs just like any variant of the wallcrawler.

The worrying thing is that neither the post nor the promo reveal the date for Spider-Noir. Next year is chocked full of Spider-Man content, with a tentpole film coming out next summer and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man season 2 coming out in fall. Most likely, if Amazon wants the series to stand out, it won’t be hitting screens until next winter.
Spider-Noir is set to release on Amazon in 2026. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the Spider-Man Noir series on Amazon Prime Video.
