A new photo shows Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee on the set of the Chris Hemsworth’s Thor: Ragnarok.

Chris Hemsworth’s third cinematic solo outing as Thor featured one of Stan Lee’s last cameo appearances before his death at the age of 95. While he was also seen in Avengers: Infinity War and its follow-up Endgame, Lee’s Thor: Ragnarok cameo was perhaps his most important up to that point, with the late Marvel icon playing the jittery hairdresser who gave Hemsworth’s God of Thunder his clean-cut look for the movie.

Earlier this week, Thor: Ragnarok photographer Chuck Zlotnick shared a never-before-seen photo of Stan Lee on the set of the movie. In the photo, Lee can be seen taking a break from filming in full costume. You can check it out below.

Chris Hemsworth is set to reprise his role as the fan-favorite Avenger in Thor: Love and Thunder, which will also feature the return of Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie and Natalie Portman Jane Foster. Waititi is back in the director’s chair, with the film taking cues from Jason Aaron’s Mighty Thor comic book run.

Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins. Here is the official synopsis for the movie:

In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his home world and the end of Asgardian civilization at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!

Thor: Ragnarok is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Meanwhile, Love and Thunder is set to hit theaters on February 11, 2022.
