Ahsoka is back!

The upcoming Star Wars spin-off series based on Ahsoka Tano is set to begin filming very, very soon.

Ahsoka is finally headlining her own Star Wars series! The fan-favorite Star Wars hero made her debut in the animated The Clone Wars series. The Jedi later made her first live-action apperance in the second season of The Mandalorian, with Rosario Dawson playing the role. Now, the Jedi master is set to star in her own series, and it looks like production is set to start very soon.

Production Weekly suggests that the Ahsoka series will begin filming in April. Bespin Bulletin also corrobrated these findings. The outlet reports that the Star Wars spin-off series was originally set to begin production in March but faced delays due to The Mandalorian’s third season getting additional weeks of filming. Filming on Ahsoka could potentially even begin in May, but for now the outlet reports that April is when things should kick off.

Bespin Bulletin was also able to confirm that the working title for the series is Stormcrow. It’s hard to discern what this working title means since most of the time they’re either tongue-in-cheek references or inside jokes between the production crew. After all, Star Wars: A New Hope‘s production title was Blue Harvest!

Rosario Dawson most recently appeared as the Jedi master in The Book of Boba Fett. Here is the synopsis for the Disney Plus original Star Wars series:

The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, and Kathleen Kennedy are all executive producers on The Mandalorian spin-off with episodes directed by Rodriguez, Favreau, Filoni, and Bryce Dallas Howard. The series stars Temuera Morrison, Ming-Na Wen, and Jennifer Beals.

The series is currently streaming on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the new Star Wars series, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
