New ‘Star Wars’ Day Video Celebrates The Saga’s Films, Shows, & Games

Disney and Lucasfilm released a new video to celebrate Star Wars Day 2020.

May the 4th marks Star Wars Day, a time for fans of the franchise to celebrate the ongoing saga that began with George Lucas’ original film back in 1977. Since the first film debuted in theaters and irrevocably changed Hollywood, the franchise has expanded to include novels, video games, and television projects, many of which have each received acclaim in their own right.

Now, Disney and Lucasfilm are celebrating Star Wars Day by releasing a video that covers every entry in the franchise that is considered canon. With footage from the Star Wars films, The Clone Wars series, the games, and more, the video emphasizes the themes of family and hope that have resonated with fans since the saga began.
