New ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ Clip Introduces ‘The Bad Batch’

Disney Plus has released a new clip from the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

On Friday, Star Wars: The Clone Wars will make its long-awaited return with the premiere of its seventh and final season. Consisting of 12 episodes, the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will continue the story arcs introduced in the original series as it builds towards the events of Revenge of the Sith.

Now, Disney Plus has released a new clip from Star Wars: The Clone Wars that introduces the experimental Clone Force 99. In the clip, Captain Rex is briefed on the new clone force, who call themselves “the bad batch,” and expresses his concerns over their methods before they embark on a mission behind enemy lines to find out how Separatists have put the Republic on a losing streak.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars follows the Republic’s clone army in their struggle against Count Dooku’s Separatist forces, and features fan-favorite characters like Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, and Darth Maul.

Created by George Lucas, with Dave Filoni as executive producer/supervising director, Star Wars: The Clone Wars stars Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker, Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, Dee Bradley Baker as Captain Rex and the clone troopers, James Arnold Taylor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan, and Sam Witwer as Maul.
