Latest ‘Stargirl’ Trailer Focuses On Solomon Grundy & The Injustice Society

The latest trailer for Stargirl teases the appearance of Solomon Grundy and the Injustice Society in the upcoming series for DC Universe and The CW.

We are about a week away from the debut of Stargirl on both DC Universe and The CW. The upcoming series is set to explore both the Justice Society of America and the Injustice Society. Geoff Johns has teased that several members of the JSA like Jay Garrick’s The Flash and Alan Scott’s Green Lantern could eventually make their way into the series.

So far, we’ve gotten a good look at Injustice Society members like Sportsmaster, but the latest Stargirl trailer features an even better look at the team comprised of other villains like Brainwave, Tigress, Wizard, Icicle, Dragon King, and Solomon Grundy. Here is the official synopsis for Stargirl:

High school sophomore Courtney Whitmore who inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new DC Universe series reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in a fun, exciting and unpredictable series premiering in 2019, produced by Warner Bros. Television, Mad Ghost Productions and Berlanti Productions.

Stargirl stars Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitemore, Joel McHale as Starman, Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan, and Meg DeLacy as Cindy Burman. The series also stars Amy Smart, Trae Romano, Cameron Gellman, Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Meg DeLacy, Neil Jackson, Jake Austin Walker, Christopher James Baker, and Hunter Sansone. Geoff Johns will write and executive produce the 13-episode first season of Stargirl while Sarah Schechter and Arrowverse boss Greg Berlanti will also serve as executive producers on the series.
