Arrow star Stephen Amell opened up about a panic attack he suffered on an episode of former Smallville actor Michael Rosenbaum’s “Inside of You” podcast.
Arrow star Stephen Amell recently returned to Michael Rosenbaum’s “Inside of You” podcast after suffering from a panic attack mid-way through the recording of the episode. Stephen Amell has now shared on Twitter that he was on Michael Rosenbaum’s show right after he finished filming Arrow.
I did Rosey’s podcast after Arrow ended. We had to cut it short because I had a full on panic attack. It wasn’t pretty. I came back a few weeks ago to chat about it. I was in a really bad spot and I’m happy to report that I’m doing much better. Listen please 🙂 https://t.co/bpnUDqtQZN

Stephen Amell has now gone into detail on the panic attack he suffered on Michael Rosenbaum’s podcast. In the recent episode, Stephen Amell revealed to Michael Rosenbaum that part of why he suffered from a panic attack was due to a break he took from being in superhero shape after wrapping on Arrow:
“I had gotten into such a rut with physical fitness, or lack thereof, that there was no physical release, no release of endorphins. I was left with, not to get too personal, very little sexual appetite because I was doing nothing except digging myself into a rut with my body.”
Stephen Amell talked more about how he dealt with the ending of Arrow after working on the show for eight years:
“The leaving of the show, combined with just, not really breaking away from it in my life … it was like I needed this clean break. I needed to go on a trip. I needed to drop my phone. I just hadn’t disconnected.”
