‘Stranger Things’ Gets Explosive In Epic Season 4 Volume 2 Trailer

"It might not work out for us this time."

Stranger Things 4 Netflix Vecna

A new trailer for the final part of Stranger Things Season 4 teases overwhelming odds as the battle against Vecna turns explosive.

Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 has split the gang across the country and, in Hopper’s and Joyce’s case, across the world. The season has introduced a terrifying new monster from the Upside Down, Vecna – revealed in the Volume 1 finale to be One, another test subject from the lab that gave Eleven her powers. It was also revealed that Eleven herself was the one responsible for throwing One into the Upside Down, turning him into Vecna.

The season ended with Vecna capturing Nancy before she could join the others in escaping the Upside Down. Meanwhile, things are looking a little brighter for Hopper and Joyce, who have finally been reunited in Russia.

Vecna – A Threat Too Far?

The first full-length trailer for Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 offers up a pretty bleak image of the turn things are about to take. The trailer sees Robin tell Steve “I have this terrible feeling, it might not work out for us this time.” It looks like Vecna might be more than the gang can handle. Check out the new trailer below:

The trailer also promises more of the Demogorgon, a fight between Lucas and Jason, Murray wielding a flamethrower and at least one huge explosion. With fans speculating on the possibility that not everyone will make it out of this season of Stranger Things alive, this trailer certainly makes it seem like Vecna is one foe too great for the series’ heroes to conquer.

Here is the synopsis for fourth season for Netflix’s hit series:

Created by the Duffer Brothers, the Netflix series stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, Brett Gelman, Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, and Joseph Quinn.
