Stranger Things star Winona Ryder was originally set to testify in the lawsuit but will no longer be participating.
Winona Ryder was once a romantic partner of Johnny Depp. The two were together from 1989-1993 and the Stranger Things actress has gone on record, stating that the person Amber Heard was portraying him as did not seem right. Likewise, Vanessa Paradis, another former romantic partner of Johnny Depp couldn’t reconcile the accusations with the man she knew either and were both scheduled to testify at the trial. Now, however, the two will no longer be appearing, with Depp stating that they were not needed, as The Sun was not contesting that Depp had never hit them.
