‘Supergirl’ Villains Reign & Agent Liberty Will Return For 100th Episode

Melissa Benoist Supergirl Crisis on Infinite Earths Reign Agent Liberty

Supergirl‘s 100th episode will have quite the collection of characters as villains Reign and Agent Liberty will be returning for the episode.

Supergirl‘s upcoming episode seems like it will be putting Kara Danvers through a lot. Based on what we know, the upcoming episode will focus on Supergirl striking a deal with DC troublemaker Mxyzptlk in order to tell Lena Luthor her secret before Lex Luthor does. This will apparently have a few consequences as antagonists Reign and Agent Liberty will return as well.

In Supergirl, Agent Liberty is played by Sam Witwer. In the show, Agent Liberty’s life was torn apart after an alien attack, causing him to dedicate his life to eradicating alien life on earth. This brought Agent Liberty into conflict with Supergirl several times before being sent to prison for his various crimes.

Reign, played by Odette Annable, was a major antagonist of Supergirl‘s third season. In it, Reign had something of a tragic story, being sent to earth to destroy it but, like Supergirl, was raised by humans and was unaware of her world killer half, eventually splitting her into two different personalities. The human side of her was eventually able to triumph over the Reign side and apparently destroy it forever. But it seems that Supergirl messing with the timeline just may undo this happy ending. It is currently unknown how big of a role that Reign and Agent Liberty will play in Supergirl‘s 100th episode.
