Seth Rogen is finally making his way to the DC Universe! A rumor suggests that the beloved actor may make a cameo appearance in Supergirl.

Despite how active the rumor mill has been with the broader DC Universe, it’s been quiet about Supergirl. Part of this is likely that fans already know what most of the film’s story will be, thanks to the graphic novel the movie is based on, meaning that there aren’t many crazy surprises for the scoopers to ruin.

But many doesn’t mean any. With test screenings now underway for the next entry in the DC Universe, some details about the project are slowly finding their way onto the net. The most interesting rumor to come out of these reports comes from veteran Hollywood reporter Jeff Sneider, who reveals that Seth Rogen actually has a voice cameo in Supergirl.

Who Is Seth Rogen Playing In Supergirl?

The default assumption that people have about this rumor is that Seth Rogen is going to play Krypto in Supergirl. While not out of the question, especially as Krypto has been voiced by comedians in the past, it would be odd to have Krypto speak in the DC Universe adaptation of a comic where he’s all but silent.

Most likely, Seth Rogen’s cameo in Supergirl will be one or two lines from an unnamed alien. Not only is this a common practice in films, with Brad Pitt having a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in Deadpool 2 and Tim Robinson having a voice-only cameo in Scream 6, but any more substantial role in the DC Universe would’ve likely been picked up by trades.

Supergirl is set to release on June 26, 2026. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the DC Universe!
