The actor for Ultraman is rocking his costume! The latest BTS photo from Superman gives fans their best look yet at the villain during production.

Ever since the first BTS photo of Superman was taken, one of the biggest mysteries was what actor was underneath the mask. Except, it wasn’t EXACTLY a mystery. Almost everyone immediately clocked that the character was likely a clone of Superman, with the suit being worn by a stunt double for most of the film until it was revealed that David Corenswet was hiding beneath the mask.
And, unlike most predictions for superhero movies, fans were actually completely right this time. Yet in spite of their vindication, the team behind Superman has been keeping any BTS photo featuring Ultraman close to their chest. That is, until recently when a new picture was released, giving fans their first official look at David Corenswet wearing the Ultraman suit.

Ultraman’s Future In The DC Universe
Some fans were left disappointed in the closing minutes of Superman, as Ultraman was unceremoniously knocked into a wormhole in order for Lex Luthor to take the stage of the final villain. However, there is hope that this may be setting up a future for David Corenswet to return as the character, with the wormhole potentially taking him to Earth-3.
Yet the more likely scenario is that the wormhole took Ultraman to a world similar to the one seen in Superman, just….swapped. One with a different sun and maybe even a different shape. Of course, this is Bizarro-world, with many speculating that the ending of the film sets up David Corenswet’s return as a Bizarro version of his hero sometime down the line.
