‘Superman & Lois’ Set Photos Offer First Look At Recast Jonathan Kent

Set photos from Superman & Lois season three feature the first look at Michael Bishop as Jonathan Kent.

Prior to filming Superman & Lois season three, Jordan Elsass was recast as Jonathan Kent last minute. Elsass later shared that he had to leave The CW series due to his mental health. Michael Bishop will now step in to play Jonathan Kent in Superman & Lois for the third season.

Superman & Lois is currently filming the first episode of season three with The Flash star Tom Cavanagh back as director. Canadagraphs was on the set and managed to take some pictures and videos from filming, which reveals the first look at Michael Bishop as Jonathan Kent.

Jonathan Hits the Road

In the set videos and photos, it appears Jonathan will be trying to get his license since we see him and Lois at the DMV and driving together. You can check out the cool set photos from the upcoming season below.

Here is the synopsis for Superman and Lois:

Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch star as Superman & Lois, the world’s most famous superhero and comic books’ most famous journalist, as they return to Smallville to face their greatest challenge ever – dealing with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.

In addition to Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, the series stars Michael Bishop and Alexander Garfin as the sons of the titular characters, Dylan Walsh as General Sam Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang, and Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing. Written by The Flash‘s Todd Helbing, the series is executive produced by Helbing, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns.
