Superman is looking fresh!

The DC Universe is already getting some really dope merch! Fans have gotten a new look at David Corenswet as Superman at some local retailers.

Merch and the DC Universe have gone hand-in-hand for decades. From toy sales keeping the old Superfriends cartoon afloat, to The Flash having its twist villain leaked through a line of tie-in figures, collectibles and chachkies have become an integral part of the franchise for many fans. And with Superman just a few months from release, fans have been eagerly awaiting merchandise from the upcoming reboot to find their way onto store shelves. Though, preferably, without any leaks for David Corenswet’s freshman outing as the character.

And just as certain as the sun sets, merch for the highly-anticipated Superman film has been arriving on store shelves just ahead of Spring Break across America. The particular item that caught the eye of fans is actually a lunch box adorned with the DC Universe’s House of El crest. This is because the tag has a new image of David Corenswet as the Man of Steel. While it doesn’t reveal too much new about his character, fans are raving because of the “aura” put off by the pose.

Superman Finds His Home In Official Merch

Fresh pics of David Corenswet’s face aren’t the only thing fans are getting a glimpse of while shopping in support of the film. The official DC Universe store also has a number of merch pieces for Superman. While most of the designs focus on Krypto, there is one design that has quickly stuck out to fans. Able to be bought on a blanket and a hoodie, this version of the iconic logo seems to reveal the design of the Fortress of Solitude.

It’s likely that, as Superman gets closer and closer to release, the companies involved will get more risque with their merch. To be specific, it’s possible that spoiler-filled items hit shelves early before the film officially releases, potentially spoiling some surprising cameos in store for the DC Universe. Though, on the bright side, such an uproar over a single lunchbox does bode well for the revenue David Corenswet’s debut as the hero will make once it does finally hit the silver screen.

Superman is currently scheduled to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the DC Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
