‘Superman’ Movie Set Photo May Reveal New Details About Lex Luthor In The DC Universe

Is Lex Luthor's LuthorCorp changing for the worse?

Is Lex Luthor’s LuthorCorp switching industries in the DC Universe? A Superman set photo teases a new direction for the iconic company.

It seems that every day, fans are getting a new set photo from Superman now that the project is filming on American streets. Today is no exception, with a new look at the LuthorCorp logo finding its way online. However, fans speculate this image could mean more than it’s letting on about the company’s role in the DC Universe.

The set photo shows off the LuthorCorp logo on the side of military vehicles. While Lex Luthor’s LexCorp was no stranger to working with the military in the comics, they were primarily an aerospace company. Could this mean that Superman will be setting the company up as more of a militaristic force in the DC Universe?

The New World Of The DC Universe

LuthorCorp isn’t the only company that’s been seen in a set photo from Superman. The logo for the Daily Planet also made its way online recently. While both of these companies were all but confirmed for the film prior to the leaks, it’s clear that James Gunn wants the DC Universe to truly feel lived in once it hits the big screen next year.

LuthorCorp will be helmed by Nicholas Hoult in Superman, playing the diabolical Lex Luthor. While the character’s role in the film isn’t known beyond him being the villain, it’s likely that he’ll be playing a large role in the DC Universe going forward, especially if the speculation of LuthorCorp being a military contractor turns out to be true.

Superman is currently scheduled to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the DC Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
