James Gunn’s reboot for the Man of Steel is sitting at an absolutely frosty 85% with critics on Rotten Tomatoes, with the movie also having an absolutely Earth shattering audience score at 96% – one of the highest the DC Universe has ever gotten. While both scores are expected to waver a few points as the movie officially hits theaters this weekend, things are certainly looking good for the Boy in Blue.

While the positive reviews on sites like Rotten Tomatoes and James Gunn’s reputation certainly helped the project, it’s also a testament to the power of a full-court press advertising campaign, with Warner Bros.
