Director James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad will assemble a cast of returning fan-favorites and newcomers to the DC Extended Universe that includes Taika Waititi. However, details on Taika Waititi’s role in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad are being kept under wraps for the time being.
During an interview with Wired Taika Waititi commented on his mystery role in The Suicide Squad, but could not divulge details on the character he plays. However, Taika Waititi did discuss how his role in the James Gunn film came about what marveled at the impressive cast list for The Suicide Squad:
“We’re mates and James said, ‘Come and do this thing.’ James is brilliant, and it’s just such a crazy big list of people. But I have no idea what any of them are doing.”
