Tatiana Maslany has always been in an odd place when it comes to the MCU. While She-Hulk was one of the most beloved characters yet to make their way into live-action, their Disney Plus series was an odd mix of procedural drama and prestige TV, leaving most fans split. Still, there was an assumption that, even if the show didn’t get a second season, the star would return for major crossover projects like Avengers: Doomsday.
That is, until last year. Disney made the controversial decision to put Jimmy Kimmel’s show on a seemingly permanent hiatus following comments the host made about the death of Charlie Kirk. While the decision was reversed, it soured many stars on the prospect of ever working with Disney again. One particularly outspoken actress when it came to this situation was Tatiana Maslany. So when a rumor came out that she turned down a chance to return as She-Hulk in Avengers: Doomsday due to the controversy, many didn’t question it.
Is She-Hulk In Avengers: Doomsday?
Tatiana Maslany recently made an appearance at an Apple TV event, where the streamer was unveiling new projects for the upcoming year. While there, she was asked about the rumor that she declined to return in Avengers: Doomsday. In true She-Hulk fashion, the star turned the question back on the interviewer, refusing to give a clear answer.

Like most questions of this nature, fans will never truly know until they know. However, given other MCU stars such as Oscar Isaac have openly said they have no plans to work with Disney again, Tatiana Maslany’s coy response to the rumor could be a sign of hope that she may return as She-Hulk. Though whether or not that return will be in Avengers: Doomsday is likely a question for the theaters.
