"That's my secret, Cap..."

Tatiana Maslany shared what she picked up on from Mark Ruffalo while filming She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

Later this week, Marvel Studios will introduce another Hulk to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with She-Hulk. While the MCU kicked off with Edward Norton as the Hulk, Mark Ruffalo replaced him in the first Avengers film and has played the character for a decade.

School of Hulk

Tatiana Maslany now steps into the mo-cap pajamas for the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Disney Plus series with Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner in a mentor role. During the show’s global press conference last week, Maslany was asked by Pinkvilla‘s Karishma Shetty if there was anything she learned from Mark Ruffalo while filming the series:

“Mark was just so open to whatever my process was with coming to She-Hulk. He never was prescriptive. But one thing I did witness him do was like he was lying down on the ground. When he was like lying down outside as Bruce and he gets up as Hulk. Like truly, from a lying down position, he’s suddenly standing.”

The movement was later classified as a kip, and Maslany added that it showed how much Ruffalo had played the character over the years:

“Yeah, it looked incompletely inhuman. And I was like oh, that is like what 10 years of playing this character and physically embodying him and being so inside of him, like you get to do cool stuff like that.”

Here is the synopsis for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law:

“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also appens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.”

The series stars Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Benedict Wong, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on August 18th on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the upcoming series, and subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
