Promotional art featured on new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever merchandise features a closer look at Tenoch Huerta’s take on Namor the Sub-Mariner.

The first trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was recently unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con, during Marvel Studios’ Hall H presentation. The trailer offered a few fleeting glimpses of Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, leaving fans eager for more.

The new images provide a clearer look at Marvel’s aquatic antihero as he will appear in the Black Panther sequel.

Namor Dons Traditional Attire In ‘Wakanda Forever’

Art featured on the packaging for a Namor action figure shows the character in some form of ceremonial attire, while the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Monopoly box art includes a close-up look at Tenoch Huerta’s Namor in his standard costume.

The film will see Namor hailing from the underwater realm of Talocan, rather than his comic counterpart’s home of Atlantis. Talocan draws upon ancient Aztec mythologies and the South American influence is clear to see in Namor’s costumes.

Check out the new images of Namor featured on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever merchandise below:

The action figure packaging offers a better look at the dragon-like headdress Tenoch Huerta’s Namor is briefly seen wearing in the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer. This will presumably form part of some form of ceremony in Talocan, so it seems likely the film will dive into the culture of the underwater nation.
