‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ Debuts Action-Packed New Trailer

Paramount Pictures has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Terminator: Dark Fate.

While plot details remain under wraps, the new trailer offers fans a brand new look at footage from the upcoming sequel. Dark Fate features Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton reprising their iconic roles as the Terminator and Sarah Connor respectively. The film will see Linda Hamilton passing on the baton in the film to a new lead for the franchise, which appears to be Mackenzie Davis. Plot details remain under wraps, but Dark Fate is a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day, ignoring all the other films in the franchise much like the new Halloween.

Deadpool helmer Tim Miller has directed the film from a script written by Billy Ray, David S. Goyer, Justin Rhodes, Josh Friedman, and Charles H. Eglee. The script was developed in a writers room to stand on its own while simultaneously forming an overarching storyline for what is planned to be a new trilogy of Terminator movies.

The film stars Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalia Reyes, Diego Boneta with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton. James Cameron returns to the franchise as a producer and conceived the story with Tim Miller and Skydance’s David Ellison.

Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (T-800) return in their iconic roles in Terminator: Dark Fate, directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by visionary filmmaker James Cameron and David Ellison. Following the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator: Dark Fate also stars Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta.
