Many Star Wars fans are convinced that Vernestra Rwoh is set to lie to him about the events of the series, leaving the Jedi master truly oblivious to the appearance of a true Sith.
However, many others believe that Yoda will be entirely filled in about the events of The Acolyte. This means his cameo would show Star Wars fans that the Jedi knew they were lying during the events of The Phantom Menace in an attempt to keep the peace, which has been a long-held belief in the fandom for nearly 20 years. Though it’s likely the events of the finale won’t be fully contextualized until season 2, if the series even gets one.
