The Boys mean business! A new set of posters give fans their first look at each side of the war heading into the series’ final season.
The Boys is coming to an end in just over a month. With that, promotion for the show’s final season is finally kicking up to 10. Tomorrow is the debut of the final trailer for the upcoming season. However, to help prepare fans, production dropped two brand new posters featuring the cast – good and bad – that will be the focus of season 5.
Perhaps the most notable part of these posters is that fans finally get their first look at Daveed Diggs, who was added to The Boys cast as a member for its final season. Very little is known about his character. However, it does seem as though he’ll be working alongside Homelander to take down the titular heroes.
The Final Season Of The Boys
In truth, there’s not much fans can speculate about when it comes to the final season of The Boys there are a few Chekov’s guns left to be fired, such as A-Trains redemption and Starlight getting her revenge against the deep, but those aren’t things that can be foreshadowed in posters or shown off in trailers.
The Boys has also strayed far, far away from its comic book roots. It’s basically impossible to use anything from the final arc of the comic to inform what may appear in the final season. Though it’s more likely than not that the iconic final scene on the White House lawn (you know the one) will be adapted one way or another.
