A new look at Homelander and Billy Butcher from Amazon’s upcoming season of The Boys has been released by writer Eric Kripke.

While many productions have been shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak, The Boys was lucky enough to wrap filming on season two beforehand. The Amazon superhero series was a breakout hit last Summer and finished with a massive cliffhanger. There’s currently no release date for season two, but it could arrive this Summer.

In the season one finale, it’s revealed that Homelander had a child with Billy Burcher’s wife. Fans who haven’t read the graphic novel are anticipating how this will all play out in season two. The Boys writer Eric Kripke decided to comfort those who are in self-isolation due to the coronavirus by sharing new images of Homelander and Billy Butcher from season two on Twitter. You can check out the The Boys season two images below.

Here is the official synopsis for season one:

THE BOYS is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as Gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It’s the powerless against the super powerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about “The Seven,” and their formidable Vought backing.

The Boys stars Karl Urban Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Kapon, Karen Fukuhara, and Nathan Mitchell. So far, the series has added Goran Visnjic and Claudia Doumit for season two.

The Boys season one is now available on Amazon Prime Video. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news surrounding the hit Amazon series!
