After nearly two years since its Season 2 finale, Amazon’s original series The Boys, based on the comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson returns for its highly-anticipated third season.

This new teaser trailer gives us a look at Butcher (Karl Urban) dealing with his case of glowing light beam eyes. We also get glimpses at Hughie (Jack Quaid) in his new job, Homelander (Antony Starr) dealing with his anger, and even a glimpse at Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles). You can check out the new teaser trailer for The Boys Season 3 down below:

It sure looks like The Boys continues to build up Amazon’s exciting roster of original superhero content separate from the likes of Marvel and DC. The series now has an animated spin-off, The Boys Presents: Diabolical, and numerous other live-action spin-offs are in development.

Here is the synopsis for The Boys Season 2:

The even more intense, more insane season two finds The Boys on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.

The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, and Colby Minifie, and Jensen Ackles.
