The Boys Season 3 Amazon

Eric Kripke, showrunner of Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys, has revealed the title of Season 4’s first episode as filming gets underway.

Star Karl Urban recently revealed work was starting on Season 4 of The Boys, with Soldier Boy star Jensen Ackles hinting he would be back, and now filming has officially started. To mark the occasion, Eric Kripke has shared the title of the Season 4 premiere.

Season 3 doubled down on the particular brand of depravity that fans have come to expect from The Boys and it looks like Season 4 is set to continue down that path.

The Boys Teases More ‘Dirty Tricks’

Taking to Twitter to share the title page for The Boys Season 4 Episode 1’s script, Eric Kripke revealed the season premiere will be titled “Department of Dirty Tricks.”

Check out The Boys Season 4 title reveal below:

Little is known about the fourth season of The Boys, but it’s looking likely Antony Starr’s Homelander will have more family drama to deal with. The twisted Superman has taken his son under his wing and recently learned the Supe-killing Soldier Boy is his father.

What the future holds for Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy is currently a mystery, but with the character still alive and back under the control of the government by the end of Season 3 it seems likely he will be back and causing more trouble for the Seven and the Boys.

Meanwhile, Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher and Jack Quaid’s Hughie Campbell have been using V24, a version of Compound V that gives its users superpowers for only 24 hours. However, the drug has a severe impact on its user’s brain and has left Butcher with only 18 months to live.

Here is the synopsis for The Boys Season 3:

It’s been a year of calm. Homelander’s subdued. Butcher works for the government, supervised by Hughie of all people. But both men itch to turn this peace and quiet into blood and bone. So when The Boys learn of a mysterious Anti-Supe weapon, it sends them crashing into the Seven, starting a war, and chasing the legend of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy.

The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Jensen Ackles, and Paul Reiser.

Season 3 is now streaming on Amazon, with new episodes released every Friday. Stay tuned for the latest news surrounding The Boys, and subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
