The Boys season 4 is finally set to hit Prime Video next year. Showrunner Eric Kripke teases the season contains the craziest scene they’ve ever done.
After months of waiting, the first teaser for The Boys season 4 was released onto the web. As expected, it was filled with plenty of blood, sex, and insanity. However, it seems fans haven’t even seen the half of it. According to showrunner Eric Kripke, this season holds the craziest scene the show has ever done:
“I would just like to add that I was in post today, working on a Season 4 scene that miiiiiiight be the batshit craziest thing we’ve ever done?” Kripke revealed in a recent Twitter/X post. “Like I truly can’t believe we got away with it.”
Given The Boys is a show filled with orgies, exploding penises, and fatal cunnilingus, it’s hard to imagine what season 4 can hold that fans haven’t seen. However, Eric Kripke certainly hasn’t let fans down in upping himself as showrunner with every subsequent season. Whatever awaits fans once the show lands on Prime Video is certain to be truly diabolical!
The Boys Are Back In Town
The Boys season 4 will feature the return of Simon Pegg as Hughie’s father. Amazon has also announced that the series has added Rosemarie Dewitt, Rob Benedict and Elliot Knight. Dewitt is playing Hughie’s mother, but the identities of Benedict and Knight’s The Boys characters are being kept under wraps. Jeffrey Dean Morgan has also been cast in an unknown role.
The third season of The Boys introduced Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, Homelander’s equally dangerous biological father, and saw Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher and Jack Quaid’s Hughie starting to use Temp-V, a variant of Compound V that grants the user temporary superpowers.
Developed by Eric Kripke, The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Jensen Ackles and Paul Reiser.
