Zack Snyder has been sharing quite a lot of behind-the-scenes images from his Snyderverse in recent weeks. And while he hasn’t shied away from Ben Affleck, posting pictures of his iconic Dark Knight Returns suit from Batman V. Superman, fans have been jonesing for a fresh look of the iconic, standard Batsuit.
And it seems as though Zack Snyder has come to deliver. The director took to social media to share yet another image of Ben Affleck as the Dark Knight, though this time donning the iconic cape and cowl. While it’s not exactly clear which project this image stems from, everyone can agree that it does show off a truly imposing take on Batman.
Ben Affleck’s Take On The Dark Knight
Out of all the actors recruited by Zack Snyder to build his version of the DC Universe, Ben Affleck may have gotten it the worst. The actor has been open about how the role of Batman took a toll on his mental health, albeit reflected fondly on having one last ride as the Dark Knight during the production of The Flash.
That being said, in the current age of every old comic book casting being resurrected, it’s possible that Ben Affleck could have another chance as Batman down the line. Zack Snyder has been open about wanting to properly adapt The Dark Knight Returns, which could be one heck of an Elseworlds movie a few years down the line.
