Rosario Dawson Daredevil The Defenders

The Defenders star Rosario Dawson has responded to the news of Charlie Cox’s upcoming Daredevil reboot.

Way back in 2015, Daredevil debuted on Netflix. One of the supporting cast members was Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple; a nurse who helped the various Netflix Marvel characters. She went on to appear in Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and The Defenders. She was last seen in the second season of Luke Cage before the shows were all canceled by Netflix throughout 2018 and early 2019.

Due to contracting issues, the characters of the Marvel Netflix shows could not appear in any MCU projects for a number of years. That number has since expired, and Charlie Cox’s Daredevil has returned to the Marvel universe in a big way. The character first appeared as Peter Parker’s lawyer in Spider-Man: No Way Home and will be making several appearances in the various Disney Plus shows.

Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will first appear in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law and will also be involved in the upcoming Echo series as well. The character will then get his own full Disney Plus series which will be titled Daredevil Reborn. Now his co-star, Rosario Dawson has opened up about the news.

On Charlie Cox

During a recent appearance at C2E2, Rosario Dawson revealed that she was incredibly happy for Charlie Cox, stating that the revival couldn’t have happened to a better person:

Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will next appear in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Here is the synopsis for the series:

“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.

Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law stars Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Benedict Wong, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry.

The series premieres on Disney Plus on August 17th. Stay tuned for all the latest news on Charlie Cox’s future in the MCU and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
