The Fantastic Four are coming to Comic-Con! New artwork ahead of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con gives fans a fresh look at Joseph Quinn as the Human Torch.
Out of the entire cast of The Fantastic Four, Joseph Quinn is the one fans are most wary about. Some aren’t sold on his ability to actually look like Johnny Storm. However, these fears have been slightly pushed aside by new art seen during the set-up for San Diego Comic-Con. This SDCC art gives fans a new look at how Marvel is handling the Human Torch.
This comic-con art seems to evoke the classic Human Torch designs that were essentially just an orange and red blob. It’s unclear if that’s the direction the folks at Marvel will actually go with when they start to film The Fantastic Four. However, it’s clear that Joseph Quinn at least has the side profile down to play Johnny Storm!
Marvel’s First Family Bonds Ahead Of Comic-Con
Even if fans may have issues with their looks, it seems The Fantastic Four cast members already have their dynamic down. As he gears up to take on the role of the Human Torch just days after San Diego Comic-Con, Joseph Quinn revealed that the group chat for the upcoming Marvel film is already popping with energy and good vibes.
“There’s some funny stuff going on in there,” Quinn told Men’s Health in a recent interview. “They’re good people, and I’m delighted at the prospect of working with them”
Given how close The Fantastic Four are as characters, it’s a relief to hear that the entire cast is getting along well. Even if Joseph Quinn may not look exactly like how fans would expect out of a Human Torch actor, it’s ultimately the dynamic between the actors that will make or break Marvel’s upcoming reboot.
