Is The Fantastic Four: First Steps actually peak? The Rotten Tomatoes score of the long-awaited reboot is here as early reviews begin to hit the net.
Fans have been waiting years for a new Fantastic Four movie, decades when it comes to waiting for a good one. Sadly, Marvel’s First Family seem cursed to only star in live-action projects ranging from mid, to very, very bad. This has left hopes for The Fantastic Four: First Steps mixed- some fans eagerly awaiting the team’s redemption, and others chewing through their nails assuming the worst will come alongside the project’s reviews.
Though in a shocking wave of relief, it seems as though The Fantastic Four: First Steps is…actually good? Reviews have begun to aggregate on Rotten Tomatoes. While the score still has some time to change before opening weekend, things are certainly looking up for Marvel. The project has landed an impressive 88%, making it Certified Fresh for viewers ahead of its opening weekend.

Early Reviews For The Fantastic Four Are In
Yet the Rotten Tomatoes score for a film certainly isn’t everything. The embargo for reviews on social media has also been lifted, revealing that the excitement for the project is certainly shared by influencers. Many seem to be calling The Fantastic Four: First Steps a breath of fresh air for Marvel, making the franchise interesting once more after a number of underwhelming outings.

#FantasticFour is an absolute blast from start to finish. Matt Shakman gives the best direction found in an MCU movie with great action and character beats. The surprise cameo from Green Arrow was a welcome one as the secret Galactus Herald. He stole the show.

Of course, the real wave of reviews won’t come out until Thursday night previews, which will truly be the test of whether The Fantastic Four: First Steps sinks or swims with general audiences. Though, given the Rotten Tomatoes score is higher than most of what Marvel has gotten in recent years, chances are high that their First Family has finally been done justice.
