Will The Fantastic Four feature more than one villain? A new rumor suggests the film will include a number of cameos from the pages of Marvel Comics.
While fans are excited for The Fantastic Four, the villain roster for the film is a bit underwhelming. Galactus and Silver Surfer are set to take the main stage as antagonists. While it’s exciting to see them enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they’re the only two other villains used in a live-action adaptation of The Fantastic Four aside from Doctor Doom, making the choice a little stale.
This villain issue far from kills hype for the film. However, it does man The Fantastic Four has a tall hill to climb when it comes to appeasing fans of the First Family’s Rogues gallery. However, it seems Marvel has an ace up its sleeve, with a new rumor revealing there’ll be plenty of cameos in the project.
The Fantastic Four’s Many Villain Cameos
This rumor comes from insider DanielRPK. According to the scooper, The Fantastic Four will feature cameos from multiple comic villains in smaller roles, with Galactus spearheading the villain roster. This will likely be done in the first act of the film, showing the First Family’s rise to be the world’s premiere superhero team.
There are plenty of comic villains that could fit into the speculation black hole created by this rumor. Mole Man may be the first villain to come to mind, given he’s the biggest name not yet in an adaptation of The Fantastic Four. However, Marvel can choose anyone from Annihilus to the Impossible Man to make cameos, leaving the possibilities nearly endless in number!
