Filming for the sixth season of Grant Gustin’s The Flash is currently underway and new behind-the-scenes photos are fuelling a spoiler-heavy theory. In the set photos, Grant Gustin’s The Flash can be seen in pain and his suit is going through some changes. Namely, his fingers are becoming black. Because of that, it’s not hard to imagine that we may be getting Negative Flash in the Grant Gustin series.

The introduction of Negative Flash is an interesting prospect, and most likely a necessary one considering that Grant Gustin’s The Flash will be participating in the upcoming Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover for the Arrowverse. With the universes colliding and chaos unfolding, Negative Flash may poise as a fantastic addition to the show.
Full details on the sixth season of Grant Gustin’s The Flash are being kept under lock and key, though Heroes alum Sendhil Ramamurthy has joined the cast as Bloodwork. In the comics, Bloodwork is a Central City morgue employee and hemophiliac who developed the ability to transform his flesh into blood-like physiology after experimenting with blood properties. The new season has also been teased to include an antagonist who will be the most personal villain Barry Allen has faced since Eobard Thawne.
Grant Gustin’s The Flash season six will also lead into the The CW’s adaptation of the Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline while the back-half of the season will deal with the fallout from the five-part crossover event. With Arrow coming to an end this fall after concluding its ten-episode eighth season, The Flash will become The CW’s main DC Comics drama and Grant Gustin will seemingly lead the other Arrowverse superheroes forward.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen / The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow / Killer Frost, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon / Vibe, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, Jesse L. Martin as Joe West, Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton, and Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny / Elongated Man.
The Flash season six premieres on October 8, 2019. Stay tuned for the latest news on the Grant Gustin series!
