Naughtydog revealed brand new gameplay footage from The Last of Us Part II at the GameStop Managers Conference in Nashville on Tuesday.

According to Twitter user Gaming_Forte, Naughtydog showed off a very short clip of gameplay at the GameStop Managers Conference that emphasized stealth and how you can use clickers to your advantage in The Last of Us Part II.

In addition to the new footage, the GameStop Managers Conference also featured an appearance by The Last of Us Part II star Troy Baker. As for when we’ll see new footage released, Gaming_Forte could only say “soon,” but it shouldn’t be too much longer as The Last of Us Part II itself is rumored for a February 2020 release date.

While nothing official has been announced yet, rumors and leaks have pointed to the game hitting shelves early next year. Even Ellie herself, Ashley Johnson, may have let the game’s release date slip in June. Neil Druckmann, writer and creative director at Naughty Dog, revealed that filming of the cinematics for Joel and Ellie had been completed in April.

Not many details on The Last of Us Part II have been revealed officially. Naughty Dog has only shared a small amount of gameplay footage, along with only one trailer and one cinematic reveal. But the sequel has been teased to feature a story that is the thematic opposite of the first game when we pick up with Ellie five years later after the events of The Last of Us. It will also introduce a religious cult known as the Seraphites who are a threat to the survivors in the post-apocalyptic world.

Both Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson have reprised their roles as Joel and Ellie respectively. Newcomers to the cast include Westworld actress Shannon Woodard, Patrick Fugit, Laura Bailey, Victoria Grace, Ian Alexander, and Stephen A. Chang.
