The Mandalorian is on his way back to Disney Plus.
The third season of the hit Disney Plus series The Mandalorian is set to premiere on March 1, 2023. The date was announced during the Lucasfilm portion of Disney’s CCXP panel, with Pedro Pascal making a suprirse appearance to drop the news to fans in attedance.
Din Djarin and Grogu return
A brand new image from The Mandalorian season three was also revealed at CCXP. The image offers fans a fresh look at Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin and Grogu, following their reunion during the events of The Book of Boba Fett. Check it out below.
During Disney’s D23 Expo back in September, Pedro Pascal teased that The Mandalorian season three revisits plot points that were introduced in the first season of the Star Wars series. “It’s definitely epic,” Pascal said at the time.
The synopsis of The Mandalorian reads as follows: “After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travels of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic….”
The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Giancarlo Esposito, Temuera Morrison, Katee Sackhoff, Ming-Na Wen, Bill Burr, Timothy Olyphant, and Carl Weathers, with Rosario Dawson joining the series as Ahsoka Tano ahead of her spin-off series. The project was created by Jon Favreau and executive produced by Dave Filoni, with episodes directed by Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, Peyton Reed, Carl Weathers and Robert Rodriguez.
