There’s a lot of films that people suspect will be key heading into Avengers: Doomsday. However, the oft-forgotten child of these discussions is The Marvels. This is in spite the film ending with Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau ending up in a dimension featuring Kelsey Grammer’s Beast, who himself is confirmed to be making a return in the upcoming crossover film.
And now it seems the connections between Avengers: Doomsday and The Marvels are becoming even more concrete. Teyonah Parris recently posted a video to Instagram showcasing hair extensions made by her company blūm. These extensions look shockingly similar to those worn by Parris when playing Monica Rambeau, leading many to suspect that this video was taken while she was filming Avengers: Doomsday.
Is Teyonah Parris In Avengers: Doomsday?
All signs point to Teyonah Parris making her return as Monica Rambeau in Avengers: Doomsday. However, given she’s far from the most billable actress, this has left some fans wondering why she hasn’t been officially confirmed as appearing in the movie. At the very least, the announcement would give The Marvels a ratings bump on Disney Plus.
Looking back at the chair announcement, it seems as though Marvel Studios only revealed the key cast related to the major teams present in Avengers: Doomsday: the X-Men, Avengers, Fantastic Four, and Thunderbolts. And given Monica Rambeau was left marooned at the end of The Marvels, Teyonah Parris simply doesn’t fit anywhere in the announcement.
