‘The New Mutants’ Director Announces Film Is Finished With New Look At Demon Bear

The New Mutants director Josh Boone announced that the film is finished by sharing a brand new look at Demon Bear.

It has been a long and much-publicized road to the release of The New Mutants but the film has finally been completed. Set for release early next month, the X-Men horror film suffered numerous setbacks due to rumors of reshoots and Disney acquiring Fox. Director Josh Boone has been adamant on social media that the version of The New Mutants hitting cinemas next month is his version and his version alone. And as a special treat for fans, Boone recently dropped a never-before-seen image of Demon Bear.

Earlier this week, Josh Boone took to Instagram to share a photo of himself alongside some of the technical crew members behind the latest X-Men film. Behind the crew is a still of Demon Bear, one of the most unique villains to battle The New Mutants and X-Force in the comics. You can check out the still of Demon Bear from The New Mutants director’s Instagram below. Be sure to also read the heartfelt caption Josh Boone posted alongside the Demon Bear tease.

New Mutants is officially done! We just locked the sound mix! Here with me – from left to right- The great Don Sylvester, sound editor of both The Fault in Our Stars and New Mutants. Psst! He also just won an Oscar for Ford Vs. Ferrari. Next up is editor extraordinaire Andrew Buckland, who I finished the film with me while my editors worked on The Stand. Psst! He just won an Oscar too! I’m the idiot in the middle with the hat. Next up is sound engineer David Giammarco – thrice nominated. Last, but not least is Emmy Award winning music editor Chris McGeary. It was a long road but this roaring beast is done and we can’t wait for you to see it! #newmutants #newmutantsmovie #marvel #marvelcomicsgang
