‘The New Mutants’: Magik Takes On Demon Bear In Action-Packed TV Spot

A new action-packed TV spot for The New Mutants sees Anya Taylor-Joy’s Magik take on Demon Bear with the Soulsword.

The New Mutants is the next comic book movie slated for release this year after Valiant’s Bloodshot. Unless the film gets delayed once again because of the coronavirus, fans will finally have a chance to see the long awaited X-Men film next month. Director Josh Boone recently confirmed that the film has finally been finished by sharing a new look at Demon Bear as marketing for the film starts to arrive in full force.

The majority of The New Mutants footage we’ve seen so far has put much of the focus on the horror elements that the film is embracing. However, the upcoming film is also inspired by “The Demon Saga” comic book storyline. A brand-new trailer that debuted Monday night during The Bachelor featured new footage from the film, which embraces more of the comic book elements as Anya Taylor-Joy’s Magic fights Demon Bear with the Souldsword. You can watch the new TV spot below.

What do you think of Magik’s look in the film? Do you think The New Mutants will be worth the wait? Will the film face another delay due to the coronavirus? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below!
