One of the biggest sources is scooper MyTimeToShineHello, who seems to confirm that the Disney Plus project will officially don the title of: The Punisher: One Shot Special.
The Punisher’s New Title On Disney Plus
The title is an interesting one. The Punisher is known for using guns. If the special presentation is truly called The Punisher: One Shot Special, it may be that the team behind the Disney Plus project wanted to spice things up with the vigilante. As such, fans may expect more brutal kills than they’re used to with the character.
However, it’s also important to note that this title may just be a misunderstanding. The Punisher will be having a one shot on Disney Plus, given it’s a single installment, and it is special in the fact that it’s a special presentation. It’s possible that this “title” isn’t a title at all, and is simply how someone described the project in a press release.
