The God of Thunder and Jane Foster take the spotlight in brand new action figures for Taika Waiti’s Thor: Love and Thunder!
Anticipation is through the roof for Chris Hemsworth’s fourth outing as Thor Odinson. Directed by Taika Waiti, Thor: Love and Thunder will see Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster assuming the role of Mighty Thor and Valkyrie ruling Asgard. It’s a seismic shift for the franchise that has historically rested on the shoulders of Chris Hemsworth. Details are slim on how all of this comes about and we haven’t seen a lick of footage from the film, despite the Marvel project on track to hit cinemas this year.
While we may not have official footage or stills to go off, S.H. Figuarts have debuted the first look (via MarvelousNews.com) at their Thor: Love and Thunder action figures. Thor can be seen rocking an updated suit while Jane Foster’s Mighty Thor is seen in the character’s traditional look. It’s interesting that Thor: Love and Thunder will see Jane Foster wearing a helmet as Chris Hemsworth has yet to wear one in the franchise.
Directed by Taika Waititi from a script he co-wrote with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, Thor: Love and Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale, Jaimie Alexander, Chris Pratt, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, and Jeff Goldblum. Matt Damon, Sam Neill, Luke Hemsworth, Melissa McCarthy, Ben Falcone, and Russell Crowe are also on board.
