Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi had a great response to a disappointed fan on social media.
Marvel Studios’ Hall H presentation at San Diego offered fans the first official details on its plans for Phase 4 and director Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder was confirmed to be part of the upcoming slate. During the presentation, the Love and Thunder team confirmed Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie will be the MCU’s first LGTBQ superhero and that Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster will return to become the new Thor.
Of course, not everyone was pleased with the announcements and one upset fan expressed their grievances in a post on Twitter. In response, Taikia Waititi told the disheartened fan that they will “get over it” once they realize they didn’t know what they wanted to see in Thor: Love and Thunder until the director delivers it to them.
